Because seriously, fighting the bad guys in nothing but latex and stilettos is just plain silly.

Thank GOD someone acknowledges this.
It's impractical and to me, kinda detracts from the characters.

We don't seem male superheroes prancing a round in nothingness...
Well no usually:

I don't really mind female characters dressing skimpy. It just becomes a problem when the character has no personality and only exists to look sexy and provide fan service. It also becomes a problem when people act as though that's the only way a girl in fiction can dress like.

I like cheesecake, as long as it's only in fanart. But if the character's outfit is officially slutty, then I have a problem.

Yes, is really absurd, for example, armor that only covers legs and arms...

I love this stamp, and agree with it fully. I mean, why would you just wear a skimpy outfit when you're going into battle, instead of armor or at least full clothes for protection? Yeah I get it fanservice and everything, but still, I'd like to see more femme fatales and badass female characters who aren't wearing stripperiffic clothes.

Yeah, seriously. Why is it that somehow, half the action girls you see have an invisible shield protecting their cleavage, torso, legs, backs, butts...really? Why does it seem like half the action/damage/badassery women in media fiction do comes off as purely for fanservice purposes? Thanks for making this stamp! :)
